The start: an AI assistant and TIA Portal

I program PLCs in TIA Portal (V17 to V19) and I want an AI assistant to help me directly in the project — in every language, not just SCL — instead of copying text back and forth.

We started the project: a connection to TIA on Windows, hooking up the AI assistant on the Mac, and a first plan (architecture, notes, roadmap). Day one ended blocked on verifying a setting in the VM — continued in First connection Mac ⇄ TIA Portal.
